Lost Pet Flyer Generator

This project has been on the wish list and in the works for quite sometime. So often when we are looking for pets, we are missing pertinent information due to the rush to get them posted. We are pleased, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, to be able to bring this free service to you and hope you find it useful in getting All Paws Reunited.

When a pet or livestock is lost, printed and online flyers remain one of the best ways to communicate all the pertinent information. Whether printed, or posted online, this flyer can provide clear details in less than 5 minutes to generate. This free self service flyer can be used for any animal type anywhere in the country! We've used our experience searching for pets to create this form with the information we most often need.

It's simple: Answer the questions on the form and click submit. A pdf file will be emailed to the email address you supplied in about 2 minutes. That's it. In order to securely upload a photo, you do need a free Google account. The pdf does not have to be sent to this email account, it can be sent to any email. Someone else can even enter the flyer for you and have it emailed to you. Fast, easy, accurate, complete. Exactly what we need when the search for our missing loved ones begins.

Please see some additional information and tips listed below. To help us keep providing services like this for free, please consider supporting us at the donate tab on the main menu. Just the amount of about a cup of coffee can provide a microchip for a pet in need!

Tricks & Tips To Producing Flyers

Our goal was to create an easy to use tool without needing to understand design software that could be used from either a PC or a cell phone. This is our first release. (Although it took us 32 versions to get here.) Nothing is perfect, and we hope to improve it, but we want to get it out to start Reuniting All Paws immediately.

Printing

The pdf you will receive as an email attachment is already formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" copy paper on any household printer. You can upload it a copy shop, or forward it to others to print, or forward it to a distribution list.

Social Media

The flyer is in pdf format, perfect for immediate printing, not so perfect to post to social media. The quickest (and free) way to convert it to a picture is to take a screenshot on your phone. You can then use that photo as the main photo on your social media posts an all the pertinent information will be included in the post.

Photo Tips

The photo comes out best in portrait orientation. As websites compress photos, a landscape orientation photo gets squished and the animals often look shorter than they really are. You can create a photo collage to have more than image, but we recommend not more than two photos in the collage, still in a portrait orientation.

Don't like how the original came out on the flyer? Go back and create new flyer with your changes. You can create multiple/new flyers at any time.

Post, Post, Post.

Circulate as many flyers as possible. Many people do not see social media posts, so this is an important tool in you search. Post to as many social media groups you can find. Lost pet groups, scanner pages, community pages, shelter pages, anywhere that will allow you to post and encourage people to share and spread the word. There are a lot of good people that want to help you. Reach out to them and accept the help!
